I'm a long time patron of Doug Johnson's Sunrise Kennels, and this is a top-notch operation. I regularly board my pets there and have them groomed, and I've never had a problem. Prices are reasonable, the people are friendly, and their service is very good. I even bought one of their Bouvier pups a number of years ago, and she was a great dog. I highly recommend them.

I was so impressed with Sunrise Kennels. Our dogs are like our kids. We had never kenneled our dogs and always had housesitters. When we decided to kennel them we checked around and decided on Sunrise. We were so pleased. I actually called and checked in on them and was so happy that they didn't seem to mind me calling. When we picked up the dogs they were groomed and so happy! I was concerned that the next time we brought them they'd be hesitant when they realized where we were and they walked right up to the front door, tails wagging, which was SUCH a relief for us. We leave them here whenever we go out of town, whether it's for the week or overnight. They are great! And the people there are really wonderful.
Pros: Great people, my dogs love being here, the dogs are groomed when you pick them up!
Cons: Not open Sunday.
