Was disappointed that we were seated on the second floor...felt like they had the air conditioning on too high....hostess was rude to the other couple that we had dinner with, they were late but, that doesn't mean you should be rude to paying customers!! Seemed a little overpriced for small portions of food. Like the other fondue place better (Melting...)...willing to try one more time (not on a holiday) though.
Pros: Good wait staff
Cons: Overpriced

I like to make judgements on a cost/reward basis which balances out the relationship. Mona Lisa is in a cozy, well appointed turn-of- the- century home and is very welcoming. Its three price fare from upper $38 to upper $48 per plate is at the upper end of the local scale but not at the top but for that price I would expect most of the food to be of high quality. Its fondue accent is a novelty and without that the experience fails. All of the portions are small and many and of themselves there is nothing that excels. They are rescued by the dominating fondue. Where restaurant food cost is typically 35-40% of cost this menu could not exceed 25% and that speaks for itself. The tab for three including one glass of wine for one person and a 20% tip and tax totaled $145 for three. I did not come away with that "satisfied' feeling of good value and experience. I would not return.
